Training & Enablement

Standalone or bundled

A practical program that teaches your attorneys and staff to use your AI tools correctly: how to prompt for legal tasks, how to verify output before it enters work product, and what supervision looks like when AI is in the workflow. It is hands-on training on your tools, not a CLE seminar or an ethics course.

What is included

  • A pre-training review of your tools and workflows, so the training uses your real practice, not generic examples.
  • One or two live sessions covering how the tools work, prompting for your task types, and the verification step for each workflow.
  • A custom prompt library: 5 to 10 annotated templates for your common tasks, with notes on what to adjust and what to watch for.
  • A one-page verification checklist: the steps to take before AI-assisted content enters a document or the matter file.
  • A practical session on supervision: what a supervising attorney checks when staff use AI on a matter.
  • A 30-day follow-up call for questions that surface in real use.

How it runs

  • A pre-training intake: which tools, which staff, which practice areas and tasks.
  • Custom materials prepared: prompt library and checklist tuned to your tools.
  • A live session using your real matter types, with placeholder data, not live client information.
  • An optional second session a week later on questions from real use.
  • Materials delivered, with a 30-day follow-up call.

What you get

A custom prompt library for your common tasks and a one-page verification checklist, plus the live sessions and a 30-day follow-up call.

About 1 to 3 weeks from kickoff to the last session and materials.

A good fit if

  • You just adopted new AI tools and need the team to use them correctly.
  • Your support staff are using AI on client work without training or a supervision structure.
  • You want documentation you can hand to the next new hire.

Not the right fit if

  • You have not selected or configured your tools yet. Training on tools that are not set up does not stick.
  • You want a CLE-credit ethics seminar on professional-responsibility duties.
  • You want an ongoing monthly training retainer.

Examples

  • A solo immigration attorney gets a session on a new drafting tool, a prompt library for cover and hardship letters, and a checklist for verifying citations and client-specific facts.
  • An estate-planning firm trains both attorneys and a paralegal together, with a prompt library for wills and directives and a checklist the paralegal runs before the attorney reviews.
  • A family-law firm adopting Clio's native AI learns where it is reliable, where it is not, and what must go through full attorney review before it leaves the firm.

What is not included

  • Ongoing or retainer training. This is a bounded engagement.
  • Tools you are not currently using. The prompt library is tuned to specific tools.
  • Any ethics-compliance advice for any jurisdiction.
  • Clio or workflow changes that surface during training. Those are a separate build.
